Diggers & Dealers is a mining investment forum, held annually in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The event is in its 34th year.
FORUM 2025 – 4 to 6 AUGUST, KALGOORLIE WA
Diggers & Dealers is Australia’s leading mining forum, combining corporate presentations by listed mining and exploration companies alongside a large exhibition area housing over 159 exhibitors from the sector. Delegates include miners, explorers, brokers, bankers, investors, financiers and mining service industries from around the world. A 30 strong media contingent ensures that the proceedings of the Forum are widely reported. Attendance for the recently held 2023 event was 2650.
The event provides a unique opportunity for industry professionals to meet and network, visit regional mine sites, engage with media, raise finance, invest in projects and generally engage with the resources sector at an executive level in a mining community setting, Kalgoorlie, the unofficial gold mining capital of Australia.
Diggers & Dealers is committed to providing a positive experience for attendees and expects all participants to be respectful and courteous to ensure that the event is an enjoyable, inclusive and safe environment for everyone. It is expected that this courtesy is also extended to the host town, Kalgoorlie-Boulder and its residents. Attendees will refrain from actions that may cause disruption to the forum or interfere with attendee participation at the forum.
Diggers & Dealers is not responsible for any unofficial events that take place around the town over the forum period. The attendee fully assumes the risk of loss, damages, injury or death that may arise upon attending any such third party spinoff/satellite events.
What to Do If You Witness or Are Subject To Unacceptable Behaviour
If you are subject to unacceptable behaviour, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behaviour, or have any other concerns, please notify a Diggers & Dealers staff member immediately.
Violation of the Agreement may result in Diggers & Dealers removing the attendee from the event without any recourse by the Attendee to Diggers and Dealers for any fees, costs and expenses. Diggers and Dealers may further disqualify the Attendee from attending or participating in any future events hosted by Diggers & Dealers.
Presentation Application 2024
An email will be sent to the Presenter Interest Database in mid-January 2024. In order to receive this email please add your name via this link. The email will contain a submission form to be returned by a due date. The formal offers for successful applications will be sent in March 2024.

Hon. Kim Beazley AC
KEYNOTE SPEAKER 2024
Diggers & Dealers is pleased to announce the Hon. Kim Beazley AC as the keynote speaker for the 2024 Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum. The keynote presentation will take place on Monday 5 August 2024 at 9:15am.
In 2009, Mr. Beazley was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia for service to the Parliament of Australia through contributions to the development of government policies in relation to defence and international relations, and as an advocate for Indigenous people, and to the community.
Mr. Beazley was born in Perth, Western Australia. He completed a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts at the University of Western Australia. In 1973, he was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship for Western Australia and completed a Master of Philosophy at Oxford University.
Mr. Beazley was a Minister in the Hawke and Keating Labor Governments (1983-1996) holding, at various times, the portfolios of Defence, Finance, Transport and Communications, Employment Education and Training, Aviation, and Special Minister of State.
From 1995 to 1996, Mr. Beazley was Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition from 1996 to 2001, and 2005 to 2006. Mr. Beazley served on parliamentary committees, including the Joint Intelligence Committee and the Joint Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee.
After he retired from politics in 2007, Mr. Beazley was appointed Winthrop Professor in the Department of Politics and International Relations at The University of Western Australia.
In July 2008 he was appointed Chancellor of the Australian National University, a position he held until December 2009.
Mr. Beazley took up an appointment as Ambassador to the United States of America in February 2010. He served as Ambassador until January 2016.
Mr. Beazley is currently Chair of the Perth USAsia Centre Board, Board Member of Luerssen Australia, Senior Distinguished Fellow of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Advisor to Lockheed Martin Australia, Chair of the Council for the Australian War Memorial and Advisor to TG & Associates.

Registration
All pre-purchased delegate passes can be collected on-site as below. Subject to availability passes can also be purchased on-site. Please note a surcharge applies to onsite purchases.
Sunday 3 August – 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM from inside the large marquee, in front of the large viewing screens.
Monday 4 August – 7:30 AM to 9:45 AM from inside the large marquee, in front of the large viewing screens.
Monday 4 August – 9:30 AM to completion of the forum from the Forum Entry point located on Cheetham Street. Visible with signage.
Forum Venue
The forum is held at the Goldfields Arts Centre, Cheetham Street, Kalgoorlie. The exhibitions and all-day catering are held in a 3000 sqm marquee located adjacent to the Goldfields Arts Centre.
Site Visits
Part of the attraction of the annual Diggers & Dealers is the unique opportunity for attendees to visit minesite(s) during their stay in the region. If there is a particular company with a mine in the Goldfields region please contact the company directly to express your interest.
Accommodation
Accommodation is expected to be at a premium for the 2025 event given the mining activity in the Goldfields region. To view a list of accommodation venues in the region you can visit this LINK.

Transport
Diggers & Dealers courtesy buses run for the duration of the forum commencing on Sunday 3 August through to the morning of Thursday morning between the airport, private and traditional accommodation venues, forum venue and town centre. A detailed bus timetable will be shared with delegates closer to the event to assist with planning.
